Welcome to the web site of the International Council for Machinery Lubrication.
ICML is a global non-profit organization dedicated to helping lubrication practitioners succeed in their professional careers. ICML certification exams are administered in accordance with ISO 18436 and are available worldwide in multiple languages and in both paper and online formats. We coordinate our exam schedule with a network of independent training partners.

| Can't travel to take an ICML exam in person? How about sitting it in your hometown or online instead? ICML may be able to offer an examination session on-site or locally--even for small groups or individuals. If you would like to find out more about that, please email us at registrations@lubecouncil.org. And as of June 15, 2020, you can also apply for an online exam that you can sit in the privacy of your home or office. Read more about that option here. |

| ICML 55.1 Standard now in Spanish and Portuguese  In response to increasing demand from our Mexican and Brazilian candidates and our training partners, we have translated the "ICML 55.1 Standard" into Spanish and Portuguese. Starting June 2021, these two languages are available as PDF format or printed book. Just select your preferred language in the "Language" box on the order form. |

| Do not let your ICML credential expire!
Your certification is valid for three years from the date you sat your exam, and it can be extended every three years by re-certification. ICML's re-certification program is based on a points system, where points can be accumulated through specific activities, including your continued employment in the field. It is an easy process, but we need to hear from you so we can ensure your certified status is maintained. Email info@lubecouncil.org for more information. |
